Ms. Hamida Begum

Ms. Hamida Begum, a notable and distinguished alumnus of Demow College, studied during 1983-85. She had been in the capacity of HoD, Department of Sociology till October, 2023 . She is well known and active social worker, involves with women empowerment , speaker and reciter.She has been related to many organisations like Assam Science Society, Sahitya Sabha, women welfare etc.At the time of retirement in October , 2023 Ms. Begum was an Associate Prof.& HoD in the dept. of Sociology at Demow College.
