Profile : Palash Sarma is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department in the Department of History at Demow College, Sivasagar Assam. He has completed his MPhil degree from Vinayaka Missions University, Tamil Nadu. His research area mainly focused on the socio economic aspects of tea industry in Assam. He obtained his post graduation degree from the Department of History Dibrugarh University with specialisation in Ancient History and social history. He has completed his graduation in History from Kakojan College Jorhat. To his credit, he has published research articles in journals and attended research workshops, seminars and conferences in India. He is a life member of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) and member of NEIHA. He is presently the CTO of NCC unit Demow College

Profile : Bandana Bargayari is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Demow College, Sivasagar Assam. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the Department of History Gauhati University. Her core area of research includes Oral history, folk history of North East India, cultural studies, social history and European history. She has also completed her MPhil degree in Cultural studies from Gauhati University. She has completed her post graduation degree from the Department of History with specialisation in Ancient Indian History. She obtained her graduation degree in History from Cotton College, Guwahati. To her credit, she has published research articles, chapters in edited books and also attended research workshops, national seminars and conferences in India.
