Gunamani Gogoi is an Assistant Professor at Demow College, with a dedicated role in promoting academic excellence and cultural activities on campus. Having joined the institution in April 2018, she is deeply committed to student development and institutional growth. In addition to her teaching role, she is actively engaged in various academic and extracurricular responsibilities, including being the Convener for the Women Studies and Development Cell and a key member of several important committees within the college.
Her contributions to literature are significant, with a number of works published both as an editor and an author. Her published books, including BHINNO GODYA (2021), GAAN XUNA R AATIBUR (2022), and KISU GODYA KISU PODYA (2020) reflect her strong literary voice and engagement with Assamese culture and society.
Dr. Hemanta Konch, Assistant Professor of Department of Assamese, NSS Programme officer of Demow College, Sivasagar. He holds a Master's degree from Dibrugarh University and earned his M.Phil in 2017 from Dibrugarh University. In 2021, he completed his Ph.D from Dibrugarh University. Dr. Konch is Certified Master Trainer on My Bharat Portal under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India and Life long Member of Assam Sahitya Sabha. His research interests include Filed Language, Acoustics Analysis of Phonology and Endangered languages of North East India.
