In response to the recent floods that affected several parts of Assam, the NSS Unit of Demow College, Sivasagar, organised a Flood Relief Camp at Betbari Village, Sivasagar on 27/07/2026, to extend support to the affected families. As part of this humanitarian initiative, NSS volunteers, with the generous support of donors and well-wishers, distributed essential relief materials including medicines, food items, sanitary pads, and undergarments to the flood-affected families. The programme aimed to provide immediate assistance while demonstrating the values of compassion, service, and social responsibility. The relief camp witnessed the active participation of NSS volunteers, who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth distribution of relief materials and to reach those in need. The initiative reflects Demow College's continued commitment to community welfare and its dedication to serving society during times of crisis.
