Mr. Prasantjit Chetia

Mr. Prasantjit Chetia, a notable alumnus of Demow College studied in this institution during 1986-88. He is now well known personality in the cultural field.He holds the post of President , Assam Natya Sanmilan(Upper Assam). Mr. Chetia achieved the Natyashree Award from Theatre Movement of India,affiliated to WHO and UNESCO in 2014. He is the script writer and director from Durdarshan and Mobile Theatre. He is also a recommended stage actor under Cultural Affair dept., Govt. Assam. Mr. Chetia has been serving as Adviser to the Arohan Programme of Education Dept. Govt. of Assam.
