Mr. Lila Jyoti Phukon

Mr. Lila Jyoti Phukon, a notable and distinguished alumnus of Demow College, graduated from this college in 2003. He started first with a Public Calling Office Booth, then started Brick Industry one by one. On public demand he contested at Assam Legislative Assembly Election from Thowra LAC in 2011 under the banner of AGP. He also started govt. works in Water Resource and PWD( building) dept. as class 1 contractor. Mr. Phukon is now also an owner of sophisticated Restaurant, Oil Petrol Retail Depot, Piggery farm etc. He is now a known entrepreneur.
